IKA Paris is above all a sharing of our passion for colors, lightness, joy and ecoresponsibility.
Our ambition is to create pieces that are as beautiful as they are sustainable, and for this, the choice of our partners is decisive. We are therefore associated with different companies and entities that share and promote, as we do, strong values around respect, kindness, high standards, eco responsibility, uniqueness and beauty.
OUR SILK SCARVES
First things first ...
IKA Paris started with the creation of our star accessory, the silk scarf. It is therefore logical to tell you about it first.
Since our creation, we have been working with Bucol, a company based in Lyon, a renowned company in the world of luxury and silk.
Bucol is in charge of the printing and the handmade production of our silk squares.
IKA is a great love story for prints, created in collaboration with artists or internally, we have unearthed little nuggets to print our designs.
Seride is the latest, an Italian company based near Lake Como that for nearly 50 years specializes in textile printing. It is a committed company certified GOTS (Global Recycled Standards) or Better Cotton Initiative.
We also work with House of U, a company based in the Netherlands committed to more sustainable fashion. They print our eco-designed materials such as Tencel, Ecovero, or rPET.
Since 2021, we have been making collections from upcycled fabrics from the best houses. For these collections we source our fabrics from Nona Source, a company born from an entrepreneurial project within LVMH.
Nona Source is the first online resale platform that recycles unsold fabrics and leathers from the most exclusive French fashion houses.
All our collections are made in a small workshop in Paris, except for our bikinis which are made in a family workshop in Tunisia.
Our models are made in limited editions and only on small series in order to limit any overproduction and unnecessary waste.
Since February 2023 we are proud to be in collaboration with Paradigme, a French platform of second hand resale.
A collaboration that makes sense, because in a concern for a more responsible fashion, we had to think about a more circular and sustainable fashion. Paradigme understood this well by becoming the platform of resale in circular economy, offering a premium customer experience of second hand for a new way of consuming fashion.
